THE CHRISTIANS ...STILL PLAYING

Anyone who can remember the 80s will have fond memories of THE CHRISTIANS. The Liverpool brothers scored a decent haul of hits, but, more importantly, they earned a lot of respect for their unique brand of socially aware pop-soul. When the hits dried up, the band continued to perform and still play regularly - though now only lead singer GARY CHRISTIAN remains from the original line-up. With Island Records about to reissue the group's back catalogue, the band have just put out a brand new single ... a sultry version of the old CAT STEVENS' song 'Where Do the Children Play'. Current line up is - GARY CHRISTIAN, NEIL GRIFFITHS, JOEY ANKRAH, LIONEL DUKE and CLIFF WATSON and you can find out more by going to www.thechristianslive.co.uk
